Never stay back to Inspire youth, Mr. Rahul Ramesh Virdiker

Introducing our dearest & the most humble person I have ever met-Mr. Rahul Ramesh Virdiker, a resident of Fatorda, Margao, Goa. His dream is to represent India in a bodybuilding competition.

Let's start with his initial days of bodybuilding career in 2010, when he saw Mr. India, Mr. Suhas Khamkar (his Idol) & got motivated towards the same passion. He started his journey by working out at the age of 18 after completing higher secondary education from Govt. Multipurpose Higher Secondary school. He got admission at Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim through sports quota & he used to workout in SAG (GYM) under coach Mr. Satyavan Naik, Fatorda, Goa.

He was also a multi- sport player who used to play cricket under the local club. Later, Mr. Naik told him to participate in the inter-college powerlifting & bodybuilding competitions, where he achieved his first medal of his career.

As the years passed by he kept on growing with his dedication and hardwork which got him success towards his dream. Later on, he participated in nationals of junior deadlift championship, where he secured the 4th position. He was so motivated by then that he started participating in most of the State & National level competition of power lifting & bodybuilding.

(2014)

As any other beginner, he was lagged behind due to insufficient knowledge regarding an appropriate diet and exercises for this profession.

Later, he was introduced to Mr. Govind Lotlikar (his body-building coach) and his life in the field of bodybuilding was completely changed.

As time passed, he won 13 times in his group category in college level bodybuilding competition, 1 time Mr. Meteora Men's physique championship in the year 2013 and 7 times gold medal winner in powerlifting competition held at inter college and state levels. He also participated in senior nationals both in bodybuilding and powerlifting championship. Later he completed his graduation & started making more concrete career goals in the bodybuilding field and started preparing himself & trained for 4 years.

In 2017, he came back & participated in every bodybuilding competition in Goa and secured 2nd place for the very first competition and two times won third place at the state level.

But, as far as I know this man will never stop until his dream of winning the gold medal at the national and the international level comes true and he makes his country proud.
